What is AUDIO DESCRIPTION?
Audio Description (AD) is Narration added to a soundtrack to describe important visual details that cannot be understood from the main soundtrack alone. It is a means to provide accessibility to individuals who are blind or who have low vision about visual content essential for comprehension. AD guides the listener with concise, objective descriptions, providing information about actions, characters, scene changes, on-screen text and other visual content, usually added during pauses in dialogue.
